As many of you may all know, I worked for over seven years to build a school in Dong O Drong Nangchen, Kham in Eastern Tibet - where H.E. Garchen Rinpoche and I were born.
Because of your great generosity this dream of education in my home village has come true.Thank you very much!

There is a wide age range of students in each grade
( due to a previous lack of an established school in the Dong O Drong region)

The main building consists of: (6) classrooms, (1) office, (4) teacher dorm rooms, a kitchen and several dining rooms
Under the governance of the People's Republic of China Mandarin Chinese language skills are recognized as being critical for survival in present-day Tibet.

Only in a private school like DODS can Tibetan children learn their mother language - Tibetan (both grammar and literature)
