Khenpo Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche

Khenpo Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche (1932-2004) was a highly accomplished and respected Nyingma-school Dzogchen Master and Terton (Guru Rinpoche treasury discoverer/revealer). He was an incarnation of Dorje Dudjom, Guru Rinpoche's 24th disciple.

He helped spread and sustain Buddhism in Tibet -- especially when circumstances were not conducive as such.

Among a wide list of profound accomplishments, Khenpo Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche founded the well-known Monastery and school "Sertar Institute" that attracted students from many different cultures and backgrounds.
